Accessibility Statement

Coinpath is committed to making personal finance accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We aim to conform to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and to the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Conformance status

Coinpath is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. "Partially conformant" means some parts of the content may not yet fully conform to the accessibility standard while we continue improving.

• High-contrast theme and dark mode
• Reduce-motion mode that honors your operating system's preference
• Dyslexia-friendly font (Lexend)
• Adjustable text size from 80% to 200%
• Always-visible focus outlines for keyboard users
• Large cursor and underlined-link options
• "Skip to main content" link for keyboard navigation
• Semantic landmarks (header, nav, main, footer) and ARIA labels
• Compatible with screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, TalkBack)
• Pinch-to-zoom is enabled on mobile (we don't disable user scaling)

Known limitations

• Some charts and data visualizations are still being labeled with text alternatives. CSV/JSON exports of the same data are available from the Reports section.
• Third-party content (such as advisor-uploaded photos) may not always include descriptive alternative text. Please report any specific cases below.
• PDF exports are not yet PDF/UA tagged. Use the CSV export for the most screen-reader-friendly format.

Assessment approach

Coinpath assesses accessibility through automated testing on every pull request using axe-core via Playwright, manual keyboard-only testing on critical user flows, and contrast verification of our design tokens against the WCAG AA thresholds.

Formal complaints

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may file a complaint with the U.S. Department of Justice under the ADA. We will work in good faith to resolve any accessibility issues raised.
